The Cleveland Cavaliers had another impressive win on Wednesday night, beating the Washington Wizards 114-106.
It was the team’s seventh win in a row and they have now found victories in their last 15 of 16 games.
After a very up-and-down start to the season, the Cavaliers are the second-best team in the Eastern Conference.
Speaking to the press and Bally Sports Cleveland, Mitchell spoke about what helped turn the team around.
“We finally found our identity of who we are, what we can be. We’re not the same team as last year, we play differently,” Mitchell said.
“Now we’re starting to figure it out and it’s a credit to everybody,” he added.
"I think we're in good shape."

Mitchell believes it really is a team effort that has transformed the Cavaliers and made them strong playoff contenders.
He admits that the Cavaliers have had a very tough road with several severe injuries decimating the roster and leaving them short-handed.
But Mitchell likes where they are now, and the fans are very happy too.
The team is doing better than most people expected and is now the second seed in the East with a 33-16 record.
The Cavaliers have two games left on their current road trip, taking on the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors on Thursday and Saturday.
For a team that started in such a way, the Cavaliers have come a long way in a short amount of time.
But now they need to prove that they can keep playing so well and remain consistent and competitive through the rest of the season.
