Voting is underway for next month’s NBA All-Star Game and many of the biggest players in the league are receiving millions of votes.
Unsurprisingly, players like LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetkounmpo, and Joel Embiid are leading in votes.
However, there are other players who deserve some recognition.
Donovan Mitchell thinks his teammate, Jarrett Allen, is worthy of getting a spot on the team.
He hopped on Twitter to say, “Good Morning just came on here to say Jarrett Allen is an All Star.”

Mitchell has worked closely with Allen for more than a year now and he has seen his skillset up close.
This season, Allen is producing 14.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per game and has earned multiple double-doubles again and again.
He has been one of the most consistent and powerful big men in the league, but will it lead to him playing in the All-Star Game?
So far, Allen hasn’t earned enough votes to be in the running for the game.
Mitchell, however, is in the running with 1,020,122 votes in the second batch of fan returns.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Conference frontcourt currently consists of Antetokounmpo, Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler, Jaylen Brown, and others.
No matter how the voting turns out, Allen is making it clear that he’s a huge asset to the Cavaliers.
This is his fourth season with the team and he’s recording some of the best numbers of his career.
The Cavaliers have suffered a ton of problems this year, including many injuries.
But Allen has remained one of the strongest and most reliable parts of the team and has consistently played like an All-Star.
