The Cleveland Cavaliers earned their fifth straight win on Monday night, beating the Chicago Bulls 109-91.
Following the game, Donovan Mitchell spoke with Bally Sports Cleveland about the progress of his team and the power that big man Jarrett Allen brings.
Speaking about the fact that Allen scored his ninth straight double-double, he talked about how he helps his game.
“He gets me open, that’s for sure. I appreciate that,” Mitchell said.
“There’s so many different things that he does…He should be an All-Star,” he added.

During Monday’s game, Allen recorded 10 points and 14 rebounds.
For the season, he is averaging 14.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 3 assists on 66.8% from the field.
He is one of the strongest parts of this team, which is doing much better than many people expected a few weeks ago.
When the Cavaliers lost both Evan Mobley and Darius Garland, some thought the season was just about over and there was no chance of them reaching the playoffs.
However, the Cavaliers have now won 10 of their last 13 games and are the fourth-best team in the East.
Mitchell and Allen really have created a strong relationship and work very well together.
Even with tough opponents and the injuries that have plagued the team, Mitchell and Allen have been consistent, especially when playing with one another.
The Cavaliers have a difficult schedule ahead, facing the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, then the Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic, and Bucks two more times after that.
To make matters worse, they then have to battle the Los Angeles Clippers after that.
If Allen continues to earn his double-doubles and keeps working well alongside Mitchell, they could score quite a few wins during this stretch.
