So, the Cavaliers remain the favorites, at least for right now.
That’s a good sign because a few of these teams have already made some offseason adjustments, but haven’t taken the top spot from Cleveland.
But a lot can and will change between now and the start of the 2025-26 season.
The Cavaliers may not still be favorites when the new season starts in a few months, especially if more trades and acquisitions occur.
And even if the team is the favorite at the start of the new season, that doesn’t guarantee that they will win it all.
After all, they were favorites in 2024-25 and still fell painfully short.
No matter what the numbers and odds say, people will still have serious concerns and doubts about this team.
Even if they accomplish a lot in the regular season, there will be plenty of worries about them falling apart in the playoffs.
These odds prove that people still believe in the Cavaliers, even with their shortcomings.
They have the skill and the coaching staff and players, but can they put it all together and win the East?
