The NBA season is a wrap, and while the NBA Finals went down to the wire, it was a shame to watch yet another star sustain a major injury.
That’s why Donovan Mitchell took to X to send Tyrese Haliburton some well wishes, pointing out why people shouldn’t take any chances with calf injuries.
“These calf strains ainโt no joke man!! Praying for Ty,” Mitchell posted on X.

Calf injuries have often led to Achilles tears, and, unfortunately, that was the case with Haliburton.
Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers were well aware of the risks, and they still decided to take them.
That’s what most fans would expect from star players, and while no one wants to see that, it’s just a part of the game; it happens.
Some players never get to play in the NBA Finals, and others know they might never return to that stage, so there’s no point in sitting out when the opportunity is right in front of them.
Chances are that Charles Barkley, Chris Paul, or Allen Iverson always thought they would be back in the NBA Finals.
The Pacers will now have to get through a major blow by not having their young star out there, but they’ve proven to be a resilient team.
The Cavs cannot overlook them, and they have to make the most of their health now that so many great players won’t be able to suit up next season.
