It sounds like the stars playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers want to stay with their team.
But that doesn’t mean that they will.
The front office may choose to move some of the players despite how much they like being in Cleveland.
Take Darius Garland, for example.
Speaking on ESPN Cleveland, Brian Windhorst said that Garland loves being with the Cavaliers, but the team is open to the idea of potentially moving him.
“I think there’s some belief that Darius Garland might be available under the right circumstances, and I don’t think Darius Garland wants to go anywhere. I think Darius Garland is very happy with how things have developed in Cleveland, and he really likes the role that he’s got. I think the Cavs are listening and open-minded, without actively trying to think that they need to change their roster,” Windhorst said.

So, according to Windhorst, the Cavaliers are open-minded, but they aren’t actively trying to ship Garland away.
Will that change in the weeks ahead?
Just being open-minded is sometimes enough to make a trade.
If another team comes to the Cavaliers and offers them something they can’t say no to, they will probably move Garland.
Where will he go, and who will come in place of him?
That is all up in the air, and nothing is certain right now.
He likes playing for Cleveland, and the front office likes him as well.
But this is a business, and the Cavaliers are looking to make the decisions that will make them better and help them win for the long-term future.
That means they may have to part with Garland, even though both sides like each other.
