Will the Cleveland Cavaliers do business with the New Orleans Pelicans this summer?
The Pelicans were in really bad shape last season, and they are probably going to commit to big trades in order to turn things around.
It’s possible that both teams could get something out of a trade.
Writing on X, Joel Moran proposed a possible deal that could help the Cavs and Pels.
He said the Cavaliers should get Herb Jones and Yves Missi in exchange for Jarrett Allen.

This would certainly be an interesting idea.
Jones and Missi could bring a boost to the Cavaliers, with Jones being particularly interesting because of his two-way abilities.
As for Allen, he would obviously bring a ton of defensive help to the Pelicans.
Allen’s name was attached to trade rumors a few seasons ago, but those faded away, especially during the 2024-25 season.
But with the Cavaliers collapsing in the playoffs, the entire roster seems to be in flux, and there is a lot of speculation popping up about the team shaking things up this summer.
It seems more and more likely that Allen could be leaving, along with perhaps some other players.
The bottom line is that Cavaliers fans should prepare to see some adjustments in the offseason, and some of their favorite players might be leaving.
It may not be only Allen, but Darius Garland and others could be packing their bags.
This proposed trade could be a big one, but it’s not a sure thing, and there are many others that could occur this summer.
