Changes are coming to the Cleveland Cavaliers, we just don’t know what they will be.
No one is sure if the Cavaliers will commit big adjustments or smaller ones, but something is going to be tweaked after yet another disappointing playoff run.
Writing for Cleveland.com, Chris Fedor said the Cavaliers are so serious that they will “at least entertain” some pretty substantial changes.
“Even though Altman reaffirmed his belief in the Core 4 — Mitchell, Mobley, Garland and Jarrett Allen — during an extensive end-of-season wrap-up and the possibility exists of keeping that group together for another run, there’s a growing sense that Cleveland would be more willing than in the past to at least entertain trade conversations involving Garland and Allen,” Fedor wrote.
The Cavaliers losing Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, or both of them would certainly shake up the team.
Earlier this season, that seemed completely impossible, but a lot has changed since then.
The team’s short and troubled time in the postseason has a lot of people talking, and fans are open to the idea of Cleveland’s big four breaking up.
But just because Koby Altman is considering losing Garland and Allen, no one knows where they will land.
And no one knows who the Cavs will get in exchange for them.
Cleveland surely wants a lot in return for these two, and people are already wondering who could land with the Cavaliers.
When the playoffs ended, fans immediately started dreaming up trade scenarios that could help them next year.
This rumor proves that the fans weren’t the only ones thinking about that.
