The Cleveland Cavaliers still have the best record in the Eastern Conference, a mark they have held since the start of the season.
Their 15-0 start to the season certainly helped their cause, but they’ve continued their dominance throughout the year, winning in a variety of ways.
Many people point to their depth as one of the most impressive parts of their success, but that depth has been called into question lately due to some injury concerns.
They will be without a few of their bench pieces against the Washington Wizards on Friday, as Evan Dammarell reported on X.
Dammarell noted that Dean Wade, Isaac Okoro, and Sam Merrill will all be sidelined during this game.
Sam Merrill (personal), Dean Wade (knee), and Isaac Okoro (shoulder) are all OUT for the #Cavs tomorrow against the Washington Wizards.
Donovan Mitchell (shoulder) is probable.
Due to today's trade, De'Andre Hunter, Georges Niang, and Caris LeVert will not play tomorrow.

He also mentioned that Donovan Mitchell, who has been suffering a shoulder injury, should play, which gives them a much-needed boost.
The Wizards have been one of the worst teams in the NBA this year, but the Cavaliers can’t take them lightly, especially after seeing some of their wins over the past week.
They are still an NBA roster that can beat another team on any given night, so the Cavaliers will want to put their best foot forward.
With any luck, they can get out to a strong lead by the end of the first half, hopefully giving Mitchell more of an opportunity to rest his shoulder, providing that he isn’t needed down the stretch.
The Cavaliers are still playing well at the moment despite their injuries, and they’re expected to get even better when their new trade piece, De’Andre Hunter, gets into the fold.
