The Cleveland Cavaliers are a special team, and while some people in the media still don’t give them their flowers, the players know.
That’s why it wasn’t much of a surprise to see Kyrie Irving gush about them.
As shown by Dillybar 2145 on X, Irving praised Donovan Mitchell in his latest stream.
He raved about a play in which he came off of a screen and shamgodded his way to a bucket.

Needless to say, having Kyrie praise one of your moves has to be one of the ultimate compliments any player could ever strive for.
We’re talking about the player with either the greatest or one of the greatest handles in the history of the league.
Irving is perhaps the craftiest scorer in the league, and as such, he’s an authorized voice to talk about his colleagues.
It’s nice to see that he still has nothing but love for the Cavs, even though he didn’t leave the team on the best terms and even had a bit of an altercation with some fans at one point.
Truth be told, even if some Cavs fans don’t like him as much as they used to, the team would’ve never won that championship in 2016 without him.
His iconic pull-up three-pointer over Stephen Curry will go down as the most iconic play in franchise history, even ahead of LeBron James’s chase-down block.
Of course, this team will have its work cut out for them, and it will be interesting to see whether Donovan Mitchell can channel his inner Kyrie in the playoffs.
