The Cleveland Cavaliers have had one goal all season long: to reach the NBA Finals and win a championship.
They might take a major step toward achieving that on Friday night.
According to Cavs Notes, the team can clinch the No. 1 seed in the East with a win on Friday and a Boston Celtics loss.
The Cavaliers will play the San Antonio Spurs, while the Celtics will take on the Phoenix Suns.

There are other postseason scenarios on the line with Friday’s game.
The Detroit Pistons will clinch a playoff spot if they win, while the Orlando Magic will be locked into the Play-In Tournament if Detroit is victorious.
A Cleveland win over the Spurs is likely, but Boston losing to the Suns doesn’t feel as certain.
Of course, anything can happen, and the Suns have shown signs of life lately.
Plus, the Spurs could surprise and take down the Cavaliers.
These will be must-watch games for a number of reasons.
Even if they enter the postseason as the top team in the East, the Cavaliers will have tough competition in the weeks ahead.
Obviously, the Celtics are their biggest threat but they can’t take it easy no matter who they are playing.
In the first round, they will likely battle either the Miami Heat or the Chicago Bulls.
While they’d be the favorites to win, the Cavaliers should take both of those teams seriously.
In fact, they need to take everyone seriously, and they have been just that all season.
They will be proud if they claim the No. 1 seed on Friday night, but they know that their hard work is just beginning and they have a lot more to do.
