The Cleveland Cavaliers lost another game.
That hasn’t been a common phrase this season.
The team failed to close things out down the stretch vs. the Los Angeles Clippers, who have been one of the most dangerous teams in the league when they’ve been at full strength.
It wasn’t a good fourth quarter by Kenny Atkinson’s team, which is why the fans were far from satisfied.

Mitchell played awful, Allen was awful, Strus was good though.

Of course, it’s always disappointing to see your team not play up to their usual standards, and the Cavs have proven that they can beat any other team in the league.
Nevertheless, they’ve already clinched a playoff spot, and while they still haven’t locked in the best record in the league, it’s normal to see them take their foot off the gas to a degree.
They must make sure to stay healthy for when it matters the most, and coach Atkinson will most likely test out some things to be ready for the playoffs.
They’re still on pace to finish the season with the best record in franchise history.
And while you never want to finish the year on a down note, there’s no need to sound the alarms just yet.
The Cavs won’t have much time to get back on their feet and put together a turnaround, as they’ll face off vs. the Sacramento Kings tonight.
Even so, they have rarely lost consecutive games this season, so they should be just fine after two losses.
