The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a roll.
After a surprising start to the 2024-2025 campaign where they went 15-0, the Cavaliers have kept moving and haven’t looked back.
They have lost 10 games since their impressive start to the season, but they are in the middle of their second 15-game streak of the year, a record-breaking number according to Cavs Notes on X.
The other teams to achieve this feat were the 2006-2007 Phoenix Suns, 1999-2000 Los Angeles Lakers, 1996 Utah Jazz, 1970-1971 Milwaukee Bucks, and the 1946-1947 Washington Capitals.
The list of teams with two 15+ win streaks in a single season:

2006-07 Phoenix Suns
1999-00 Los Angeles Lakers
1996-96 Utah Jazz

This puts the Cavaliers in rarified air, a sign that the palpable energy in the air is more than just fan excitement.
Fans are witnessing a historic campaign, one that still has a few weeks left in the regular season, which will hopefully be followed by a deep playoff push.
This team will be difficult to take down in a five or seven-game series, especially if they keep playing their brand of team-centric basketball.
The Cavaliers might not have been the favorites coming into the year, or anything close to it, but that’s not stopping them from accomplishing something special.
History will remember what the Cavaliers have done this season, but it won’t mean nearly as much if they don’t win the NBA Finals.
There is a lot of time between now and then, and a lot can happen to a team over several months.
No matter what happens to this team down the stretch, even though they could fall short of bringing home a title, this season has brought joy and energy back to the fanbase that hasn’t existed in several years.
