What a win for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Despite being in Boston, an awful start, and playing against the reigning champions, the Cavaliers were able to defeat the Celtics on Friday evening.
It was a huge night for several stars but, more importantly, it was a massive moral victory for the Cavaliers because it proved they could fight their way back into a game and also take on their biggest threat in the East.
Following the game, fans online had nothing but great things to say about the Cavs.
AND THAT'S ON CAVS HOOPS.

The win was impressive in its own right but it was even more amazing because it was in Boston and the Celtics’ home crowd was very loud.
In the end, that didn’t matter and the Cavaliers silenced them all.
Big win. Stepped into Celtics home and got a W. That's huge.

A lot of people feel that this was a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The regular season series is now over and both teams have won two games.
Now people are waiting to see if they will square off again in a few months to make it out of the East.
Gg Cavs fans. See yβall in the ECF. Hope yall make it cause I wanna see pure hoops πΏ

Nearly everyone was blown away by the massive comeback from Cleveland but also the fact that the Cavaliers won even though Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were having strong games.
Even with their 83 combined points, the Celtics just couldn’t pull out the win.
83 points combined by Tatum and Brown, and
the Cavaliers still made a 22 point comeback!!— Dawn (@DawnHibiki) March 1, 2025
And a lot of praise was directed at Donovan Mitchell, the Cavaliers superstar who scored 41 points.

This was a great night across the board for the Cavaliers.
Things started off very rocky but the team stuck with it, never gave up, and ultimately made a huge statement.
Can they do it again if they meet the Celtics in the playoffs?
