The two heavy-weight teams of the Eastern Conference met on Friday night and all NBA fans were paying close attention.
The Cleveland Cavaliers went to Boston to take on the Celtics and walked away with a resounding 123-116 win.
This was a massive victory and the final score doesn’t do it justice.
Following the game, Skip Bayless said what many other people are thinking.
“THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS ARE FOR-REAL,” Bayless wrote on X.
THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS ARE FOR-REAL.

There are many reasons why Cleveland fans should be happy with this victory.
First and foremost, they beat the second-best team in the East and the reigning NBA champions – that is always a good thing.
It’s crucial because many people still believe that these will be the final two teams standing in the Eastern Conference at the end of the playoffs.
If the Cavaliers can beat them now, people think they can beat them then.
Of course, there is still a lot of tension and uncertainty around this matchup, and Cavaliers fans aren’t assured the Celtics won’t be a problem in the future.
The season series will end at 2-2, which means both teams got a couple of wins and no one has an advantage.
Plus, the Celtics started Friday’s game with an enormous lead and the Cavaliers looked completely confused.
Obviously, they were able to get it together and bounce back but what if that happens again during the playoffs?
Will the Cavaliers always be able to rebound after a bad start against the Celtics?
Bayless says the Cavaliers are for real and a lot of people have been feeling that all season long.
They have stopped the NBA champions twice and racked up a very impressive track record and that is something to celebrate.
