It was an important win for the Cavaliers and has them feeling back on track after their loss to the Boston Celtics earlier this week.
Their win against the Detroit Pistons just days after their Boston loss was good, but it was also close and they pulled off a razor-thin three-point victory.
Now they will try to build a winning streak before the All-Star break
It’s the Minnesota Timberwolves, Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, and New York Knicks next on Cleveland’s schedule.
Of course, they are also just days away from getting their newest player: De’Andre Hunter.
Much of the NBA was surprised when the Cavs acquired Hunter before the trade deadline.
Formerly of the Atlanta Hawks, Hunter is averaging 19.0 points and 3.9 rebounds this season.
A lot of people feel he could give the Cavaliers a huge hand in the weeks ahead, especially in the postseason.
In fact, they think he could be their key to stopping the Boston Celtics if they face off against them in the playoffs.
This is an exciting time for Cavaliers fans.
They have just earned a couple of good wins, had a successful trade deadline, and are still healthy as the second half of the season storms on.
