The Cleveland Cavaliers had one of the best deals of the trade deadline with their acquisition of De’Andre Hunter.
Fans are excited to see what Hunter can do for the Cavs, but they will need to wait a little longer.
According to Spencer Davies, Hunter will not be available for Cleveland’s Friday night game against the Washington Wizards since the trade is still pending.
On top of that, Sam Merrill is out for personal reasons, while Isaac Okoro, Dean Wade, JT Thor, and Luke Travers will be missing because of injuries and G-League assignments.
Meanwhile, Donovan Mitchell is probable.

Hunter could bring plenty of special tools to the Cavaliers.
His offensive output may be great, but his defensive power might end up being the most impressive element of his game.
Many fans are already envisioning how the Cavaliers will look in the postseason if they battle the Boston Celtics and have Hunter on the floor.
Although the Cavaliers would love to have Hunter suit up for Friday’s game, they may not need him because of how bad the Wizards are.
With that being said, they could use his help on Monday when they battle the Minnesota Timberwolves.
A lot of analysts said the Cavaliers handled the trade deadline very well and this trade for Hunter could make them even better.
Now it is time for him to join his new squad, build chemistry, and find out how he fits into their rotation and plans.
The Cavaliers have a busy week ahead with the game against the Timberwolves, followed by others against the Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, and New York Knicks.
