The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to win games, building on the foundation they started with their 15-0 winning streak at the beginning of the season.
They’re on the heels of a blowout performance against the Atlanta Hawks, their third-straight win of 19+ points.
When talking about the Cavaliers, fans and pundits tend to first talk about Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland, the two players expected to perform well for them heading into the season.
Evan Mobley is also having a breakout year and has been one of the team’s most consistent contributors throughout the season.
He’s starting to get more recognition in the media, and his recent All-Star nomination is further proof that he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Reporter Serena Winters met with Mobley after the win over the Hawks, asking him what it was like to hear that he made his first All-Star game.
“Feels amazing. Been working for this all my life,” Mobley said.

Mobley seems to be humbled by this honor, recognizing that it’s a direct result of the hard work and dedication he’s put towards this craft throughout his life.
While making an All-Star Game pales in comparison to winning an NBA Championship, it’s an accolade that players don’t take lightly.
These nominees are selected by their peers and via fan vote, which showcases some of the most popular, and the best players across the league.
Mobley is one of three representatives from the Cavaliers this season, another example of how well this team is performing.
