Some Cleveland Cavaliers fans might be worried about the state of their team, but Brian Geltzeiler is not.
Speaking on 92.3 The Fan, the analyst said he isn’t happy with the team’s recent losses but still believes they have what it takes to go all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics later this year.
“I am not panicked about the Cavs…I understand why you guys might be worried about the Cavs. I am not,” Geltzeiler said, adding that this time of the year can be troublesome for a lot of teams but it’s not a reason to feel that all is lost.

Not panicking might be easier said than done for some Cavs fans, who aren’t used to seeing the team fall three times in a row.
This recent spat of defeats is even scarier because the Houston Rockets got the best of them twice in a three-game stretch.
Geltzeiler reminded everyone that the Cavaliers haven’t gotten the most out of Evan Mobley as he has recovered from an injury and he said this part of the season is always tricky for teams, with the trade deadline looming and potential changes on the horizon.
He said the team’s larger body of work from the rest of the season should give people hope that they could figure things out and become triumphant again.
Even with these losses, the Cavaliers are still one of the best teams in the league and remain at the top of the Eastern Conference standings.
Losing is never fun and not easy on fans, but Geltzeiler thinks the Cavaliers have earned the faith of their followers.
