The Cleveland Cavaliers are used to being overlooked.
The only exception came during both of LeBron James’ stints with the organization.
That has led to some of their great players being snubbed and underrated.
With that in mind, former Cavs guard Daniel Gibson shared his thoughts on the most underrated players of all time.
Talking on the Full Court Cleveland podcast, Gibson stated that he always found it crazy that Kyrie Irving wasn’t considered one of the greatest point guards of all time.

He added that most NBA players agreed he was the most skilled player they had ever seen or played against.
He also has a championship ring to his name to certify that.
Then, he talked about Penny Hardaway, stating that injuries may have led people to forget about him.
He talked about how Hardaway and Shaquille O’Neal were a treat to watch when they were together with the Orlando Magic, and he believes it’s odd that no one brings up his name when talking about the best ever.
Then, he talked about Jarrett Allen, and that was pretty self-explanatory.
While his numbers aren’t spectacular by any means, Allen is one of the best defensive bigs in the league.
He puts his body on the line and does all the dirty work.
However, for whatever reason, you don’t hear people giving him the praise he so clearly deserves as often as they should.
