The Cleveland Cavaliers have beaten a lot of great teams to open up the 2024-2025 NBA season.
They’ve taken down nearly everyone in their path, compiling the top record in the league.
Throughout the season, they’ve shown tenacity, grit, and an unwillingness to give up, even in the hard moments.
However, that doesn’t mean this team is bulletproof, or that they don’t have any holes.
Losing isn’t something they’re used to, however, and they just dropped their fifth game of the season, this time, to the Indiana Pacers.
As the team’s official X page called out, the final score was 108-93, a game the Cavaliers would mostly like to do again.

One loss isn’t the end of the world by any means, especially at this point in the season.
It appears that some Cavaliers fans didn’t get that memo, as many took to social media to express their frustrations with the team in this game, while others tried to shake it off.

Just one of those nights. Couldn't hit their shots. Good thing that's rare. π€·ββοΈ

The NBA season is long and grueling, and another loss was bound to fall the Cavaliers’ way at some point.
It will be interesting to see how they bounce back from this loss, hoping not to make this a trend moving forward.
The Cavaliers’ next chance to get back in the win column is on Tuesday when they’ll take on the Pacers in a quickly-scheduled rematch.
Thankfully for the Cavaliers, they know what they did in this loss, and will hope to correct any mistakes in their upcoming matchup.
