The Cleveland Cavaliers keep winning basketball games.
It doesn’t matter who the opponent is, or what their odds of winning are coming into a matchup, the Cavaliers have proven that they can hang with the best of them.
Even in their four losses this season, the Cavaliers have demonstrated grit and an ability to keep fighting, no matter the circumstance.
With that in mind, oddsmakers are starting to respect the Cavaliers more every week, shortening their odds to win the NBA Finals.
Cleveland sports anchor Nick Camino posted about this on X, showing that the Cavaliers have moved to 8/1 odds to win the Finals.

This is only behind the Boston Celtics (11/5) and the Oklahoma City Thunder (5/2), which shows that the Cavaliers aren’t a fluke and that they aren’t just a flash in the pan.
Unless something significant changes over the back half of the season, analysts expect the Cavaliers to at least make it to the Eastern Conference Finals, if not the NBA Finals.
They are firing on all cylinders, and if they keep winning and beating teams like the Thunder, their odds should only get shorter as the season goes on.
It will be interesting to see if this team can maintain their pace moving forward, but they’ve given no indications that they are slowing down.
Cleveland hasn’t had a champion since LeBron James was in town, and now that fans have tasted some success, they’re hoping this team can get back to that place at the end of the season.
