Against all odds, the Cleveland Cavaliers are the team to beat in the NBA right now.
That hadn’t happened since the LeBron James days.
This team might be even better than any one of the ones from those two eras.
This version of the Cavaliers has already had the most impressive undefeated streak against the other conference in franchise history.
As pointed out by Cavs Notes (via Elias Sports) on X, the Cavaliers remain undefeated against the Western Conference, going 10-0 against them to start the season.
This is now the longest win streak against the Western Conference to begin a season in franchise history, and it’s twice as long as their previous best (5-0 in 2009-10).
With tonight's 134-122 win in Dallas, the @cavs are now 10-0 against the West this season.

The Cavaliers are just coming home after a four-game road trip vs. Western Conference foes, and they won all of those games by double digits.
That helped them become the first team to win 30 games this season.
They have only lost to three different teams this year, with two of those losses shockingly coming at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks.
Plenty of basketball remains left to be played, and this team cannot overlook any of their opponents.
Of course, the playoffs are an entirely different situation.
We’re talking about a seven-game series and multiple adjustments.
Then again, after watching them dominate every single one of their Western Conference opponents, they must feel very confident about their chances in any potential matchup in the NBA Finals.
