The Cleveland Cavaliers are riding an incredible wave of success this season, with Kenny Atkinson’s squad reaching new heights after their latest victory on Tuesday.
Their win percentage has soared to a remarkable 87.8% through 33 games, but that’s just the beginning of their impressive story.
The Cavs have strung together eight consecutive wins, and not just ordinary victories – they’re crushing opponents by double digits in each game.
This feat marks only the second time in franchise history they’ve achieved such dominance, matching their historic 9-game streak from 2008.
According to “Cavs Notes,” their path of destruction began with a solid 115-105 win over the Washington Wizards.
They followed that by dismantling the Brooklyn Nets 130-101, then steamrolled the Milwaukee Bucks 124-101.
The Philadelphia 76ers were next to fall, with Cleveland securing a decisive 126-99 victory.
The Jazz couldn’t stop the momentum either, as the Cavs powered through with a 124-113 win, before lighting up the scoreboard in a 149-135 shootout against the Denver Nuggets.
Their West Coast swing proved equally fruitful, downing the Golden State Warriors 113-95 and capping the streak with a 122-110 win over the Lakers.

With this red-hot momentum, Cleveland has their sights set on claiming the Eastern Conference’s top seed for the 2024-25 regular season.
Securing that coveted position would give them home-court advantage.
The Cavaliers can hit their 30th win when they face the Dallas Mavericks on January 3.
The Mavericks, currently sitting pretty as the Western Conference defending champions with a solid 20-13 record, stand as the West’s fourth-best team and pose another intriguing test for this surging Cleveland squad.
