The Cleveland Cavaliers were at it again on Friday night, beating the Denver Nuggets 149-135.
It was an impressive performance all around, but one statistic made it even more remarkable.
According to Cavs Notes, the Cavaliers have made 20 3-pointers for the fourth consecutive game.
They are the second team in NBA history to do that, behind only the Boston Celtics from last season.
The @cavs have now made 20 three-pointers for the 4th consecutive game, becoming just the 2nd team in @NBAHistory to accomplish that feat.
The only other @NBA team to make 20+ 3FG in 4 straight games is Boston last season (March 12-18, 2024).#LetEmKnow

Does this mean the Cavaliers will follow in the footsteps of the Celtics and win a championship this season?
When 2024-25 tipped off, the Cavaliers immediately started putting up wins.
They were off to a good start, but some people thought it wouldn’t last.
Now they have a 27-4 record, but there are still detractors who think the Cavaliers don’t have what it takes to go far in the postseason.
They feel they could be a great regular season team but will fall apart in the playoffs.
But there are numerous statistics and facts like this one that prove Cleveland really does have what it takes to remain the best team in the league.
That doesn’t guarantee a title, but it should silence anyone who still doubts them.
The Cavs have now won six games in a row and have been raining 3-pointers during four of those wins.
They next face the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks on their road trip.
Those teams may present some challenges, but the Cavaliers are clearly ready to take them on.
How long can they keep their streak of 20 3-pointers going?
