The Cleveland Cavaliers have been much better this season.
It’s not a coincidence to see that Evan Mobley has also taken a major leap forward.
While his numbers are similar to those of the past, his overall game has been much more complete and well-balanced, especially on offense.
Notably, his new-found tendency to go left and dunk on people has been an example of this.
He’s done that in back-to-back games now.
When asked about that, he said it now happens naturally to him (via Spencer Davies).
“Like I always say, this is the *worst* Evan Mobley’s gonna be.”
With each game, we’re seeing Mobley going more & more to his left and finishing with the left.

That’s no longer something different or strange for him; he now feels comfortable finishing with either hand.
Mobley had only given us a glimpse of his offensive skills during the J.B. Bickerstaff days.
He had shown an ability to be an impactful scorer, but he wasn’t aggressive or consistent enough.
Now, the Cavaliers are drawing up plays for him.
There was always a question about whether he would step up and live up to the sky-high expectations that came with him when he first entered the league.
Atkinson has done an outstanding job of instilling confidence in him and bringing the best out of his offensive repertoire.
He’s playing at an All-Star level right now.
And while Donovan Mitchell is still the best player on the team, Mobley may have become the most impactful.
Just like they said, he will only keep improving over the years.
