The Cleveland Cavaliers are the hottest team in the NBA.
Even though the Boston Celtics just handed them their first loss of the season, the Cavaliers are still 15-1 and hold the best record in the league.
Fans were excited to see what this team would do in the 2024-2025 campaign, but not many people predicted they would be this good.
Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland have been one of the best one-two punches in the league, and their teammates have come together to create a well-rounded roster.
With their performances in mind, several analysts believe this team has what it takes to make a deep postseason run, including Shaquille O’Neal, who had great things to say about them via the NBA on TNT.
“I like them [Cleveland] to beat Boston in the ECF and possibly be champions,” O’Neal said.

O’Neal believes the Cavaliers have what it takes to defeat the Celtics in a seven-game series, and even considers them a team that can win the NBA Finals.
It’s a long season, and there’s still a lot of time left in the year for predictions to change.
But, O’Neal likes what he sees from this team, and he’s not alone in this line of thinking.
If the Cavaliers stay healthy down the stretch, and they continue to get strong production from Mitchell and Garland especially, the sky is the limit for this team.
Only time will tell what this team is capable of in the late stages of the season.
