Statistically, the Cleveland Cavaliers are the best team in the NBA with a stellar and historic 15-0 record.
But according to head coach Kenny Atkinson, another team is better than them.
Speaking to SiriusXM NBA Radio, Atkinson said the Boston Celtics are “still the best team in the league.”
As fate would have it, Atkinson’s team will play against the Celtics on Tuesday night, giving them a chance to defeat the team he considers the very best.

Is Atkinson saying this because he truly believes it or because he is trying to reel in expectations before the big game?
This might be the toughest night of the year for the Cavaliers.
They have defeated many other teams this season but no one is like the Celtics.
They are the reigning champions and haven’t lost a step since claiming the title last summer.
Plus, the Cavaliers have to take them on in Boston, which will only make things tougher.
On both offense and defense, the Celtics have it all and they will find ways to poke holes in Cleveland’s plans.
With that being said, the Cavaliers have shown that their 15-0 record isn’t some fluke and they truly have a lot of talent and skill.
At the start of the season, some people thought this run wouldn’t last long but they are showing that isn’t the case and that they are the real deal.
All win streaks come to an end and it’s just a matter of time before the Cavaliers lose.
If they can pull off a victory on Tuesday night, their streak will be even more impressive and everyone will agree that there is no questioning their supremacy.
