The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the midst of their best start ever and currently hold a 9-0 record.
They’re not only the greatest team in the Eastern Conference, but the Cavaliers are the best team in the entire NBA right now.
What is leading to such amazing success in the early season?
Spencer Davies cited a number of things that are going right for the Cavaliers.
He noted that the team’s defense is much stronger this year and is able to lock down just about anyone.
But he said the team’s communication is also key and everyone on the team has bought into head coach Kenny Atkinson’s plans and is working expertly with one another.
You’d be hard pressed to find somebody who’s not guarding and communicating well on the #Cavs right now — and it’s leading to chances offensively. pic.twitter.com/W5SQiDTfRr

Fans were hopeful for a good season in 2024-25 but things are even better than their wildest dreams.
Few people expected them to win their first nine games of the season.
But, as Davies said, there isn’t a weak link for the Cavaliers right now.
Their offense speaks for itself but their defense is also suffocating and strong, shutting down all types of opponents.
On Wednesday evening, the Cavaliers took down their latest victims: the New Orleans Pelicans.
Davis highlighted Cleveland’s impressive defense during that game and reminded viewers how Brandon Ingram seemed inconsequential because the Cavaliers minimized him so much.
The red-hot start for Cleveland has fans happy that the front office didn’t make any changes in the summer.
They were right to keep the squad they have, remain confident, and know a new head coach could unlock something special.
Special doesn’t even begin to describe the Cavaliers right now.
