It’s safe to say that not many NBA pundits or fans had the Cleveland Cavaliers being the best team in the entire league after nine games.
Kenny Atkinson has gotten off to a historic start, becoming the first coach in NBA history to go 9-0 with a new team.
The Cavs are also riding the best start to a season in franchise history.
Needless to say, the rest of the fans noticed this team quickly.
With that in mind, they took to Hoop Central’s post on X to share their thoughts on the 9-0 Cavs.
Mitchell is insanely underrated. MVP favorite imo

Granted, some of the teams they’ve beaten have either been struggling or subpar.
Then again, you can only beat whoever you face and come across, and the Cavaliers aren’t only winning games; they’re dominating on both ends of the floor.
Despite not going to the line often, this team keeps finding the open man and riding the hot hand on offense.
That one-two punch with Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland is finally starting to take off.
Evan Mobley has added more moves to his offensive repertoire and finally developed some touch from long and mid-range.
Jarrett Allen is back to doing Jarrett Allen things: cleaning the glass and disrupting everything on defense around the rim.
This team won’t go undefeated for an entire season, and that should go without saying.
But as far as this start of the season is concerned, there’s no valid argument to deny that they’ve been the hottest team in the league.
