The Cleveland Cavaliers are having one of their best seasons in years and multiple players are performing better than ever.
Jarrett Allen is having a fantastic year and is averaging 15.0 points and 11.6 rebounds per game so far.
Speaking about his teammate, Darius Garland told Serena Winter just how much he helps the team.
Garland said:
“JA is our heart & soul…Whenever his energy is super high, we’re super high…It’s good to see his fro just flowing, him smiling, him dunking… whenever he dunks, whenever he gets a block, that just turns all of us up.”

Being called the heart and soul of a team is a huge compliment and it shows just what he means to the Cavaliers.
Allen has been a crucial part of the lineup for years but he’s been even more important lately.
The other night, he produced a monstrous block on Damian Lillard and helped Cleveland secure another win.
It’s hard to believe that just last season, some fans were saying Allen and the Cavaliers should cut ties.
There were concerns about Allen working with Evan Mobley and speculation that the frontcourt duo could be broken up.
The team didn’t make any changes in the summer and fans are very happy they didn’t because the same roster they had last year is playing much better in 2024-25.
The entire team is doing very well and Allen is keeping everyone engaged, motivated, and committed to winning.
Cleveland has had talent for years but this year they are feeling more confident and happier on the court together.
It sounds like Allen is a major part of that.
