Because of injuries to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Isaac Okoro has been able to play a lot more this season.
Due to that, he has gained attention from many fans – and many other teams too.
On Monday morning, Michael Scotto, via The Trade Deadline, reported that multiple teams are interested in Okoro, including the New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers, Phoenix Suns, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Cavaliers fans online immediately responded to the news of Okoro possibly leaving the team.
"[Isaac] Okoro is expected to draw interest at the trade deadline. The Knicks, Hawks, Pacers, Suns and Bucks are all teams to closely monitor as all are known to have interest in acquiring a two-way wing."

Some people flatly denied that any deal was going to be made and expect to see Okoro with the Cavaliers through the rest of the season.
He’s not going anywhere

Many people pointed out that most of the teams interested in Okoro are Eastern Conference rivals.
Why would the Cavaliers trade Okoro to a team they might battle against in the playoffs, many fans asked.
He’s more valuable to the Cavs than he is to those other teams. They aren’t gonna offer enough. Plus 4/5 of those teams are rivals of the Cavs who we could see in the playoffs. Can’t see a deal getting done bc why help your opposition?

Every team on that list is a potential playoff matchup for the Cavs. Why would we send our best perimeter defender there?

Some feel the Cavaliers won’t receive a desirable return for Okoro.
These fans could envision the Cavaliers making a deal if they are given a player like Dejounte Murray of the Atlanta Hawks, but they don’t believe that will happen.
The only one of those teams that has anything the Cavs would want is the Hawks but something tells me they wouldn't do a Murray for Okoro/LeVert swap.

Most people online don’t think the Cavaliers will make a deal to send Okoro away this week.
For one, he’s been doing quite well so far this season and the team has been on a roll lately.
Why would the front office risk messing up the good thing the team has right now, even for a fair deal for Okoro?
The Cavaliers might remain relatively calm during this week’s trade deadline because they have been doing so well.
But they also might get an offer for Okoro that they just cannot say no to.
