The Cleveland Cavaliers happily welcomed Darius Garland back to the team on Wednesday night after six weeks of absence due to an injury.
The former All-Star got right to work and scored 19 points for the Cavaliers in their 128-121 win over the Detroit Pistons.
After the game, Donovan Mitchell spoke with the press and talked about how happy he was to see Garland.
He also said that he and Garland are going to keep evolving their game, working together when it comes to ballhandling and finding their respective spots on the floor.
Mitchell made it clear that the two stars are going to continue finding ways to collaborate on the floor and create even stronger chemistry, according to a video shared by Spencer Davies.

For the first time in weeks, the Cavaliers finally have their famous backcourt together again.
The team has suffered through so many injuries all summer long but Garland’s was perhaps the worst.
When Mitchell was sent to the Cavaliers, fans were elated to see how he could work alongside Garland, one of the best, most exciting guards in the league.
If the Cavaliers want to have a successful season, the duo of Mitchell and Garland has to be united and strong.
However, the Cavaliers have continued to thrive even while Garland was out, which is a testament to the deep roster and the leadership of Mitchell.
Some people were both joyful and nervous when Garland returned because they were concerned that the team chemistry would be disrupted.
There was no sign of any disruption on Wednesday night and the Cavaliers now have to take on the Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs in the days ahead.
