Cleveland Cavaliers star Darius Garland is set to return to his team on Wednesday night after a jaw injury sidelined him since the middle of December.
This is good news for the team, especially after Evan Mobley also recently returned from his nasty injury, but it does have some fans concerned.
One of those fans posted their worries on Twitter, saying that they’re afraid Garland’s re-entry to the team could disrupt chemistry.
“If I’m JB [Bickerstaff], I think about bringing him off the bench for now,” the fan said.
Mack Perry responded, defending Garland’s place in the starting five and Bickerstaff’s ability to handle the situation:
“I understand the concern but DG is the starter. Evan didn’t disrupt the chemistry although he looked rusty. There will be an adjustment period for all involved by I choose to believe that JB will get it sorted out and they’ll be a better team for it.”

Garland last played for the Cavaliers on December 14, when he ran into Kristaps Porzingis of the Boston Celtics and immediately fractured his jaw.
He hasn’t played since but the team has been thriving without their terrific guard.
They were also without Mobley but the team went on an eight-game winning streak and looked better than they had in months.
They have a good thing going right now and that is why certain people are concerned that Garland’s return could jeopardize that.
As great as Garland is, any sort of change from the ways things have been lately could lead to losses.
But Perry is right: Garland has always been a starter for the team and that’s his rightful place.
It might take a bit of adjusting but Bickerstaff and his team are professionals who are capable of working through that.
