The Cleveland Cavaliers have surpassed all expectations during the 2023-24 NBA season despite key members of the team facing injury issues.
Sure, the Cavaliers had a somewhat slow start to the season, but they have well and truly made up for it over the past few months.
So much so that many believe the Cavaliers can easily make the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals if they continue to play at the same level.
Speaking of which, Cavaliers analyst Aaron Goldhammer made a strong projection for the team this season via ESPN Cleveland on Twitter.
“I think if they play the way they played last night, I think not only could they win one playoff series, I think if they got lucky and they got the Bucks in the second round they could win too,” Goldhammer said.
.@HammerNation19 thinks that if the Cavs keep playing like they did last night that they could very well make it to the ECF this year.

Goldhammer believes the Cavaliers have a legitimate shot at reaching the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals if all goes in their favor this season.
The Cavs analyst made a strong projection for the team after viewing the Cavaliers’ recent matchups.
The Cavaliers registered a solid 118-108 win over the highly talented Los Angeles Clippers.
As expected, Donovan Mitchell was the star of the show with 28 points, 4 rebounds, and 12 assists to his name during the game.
Speaking of Mitchell’s performance, he displayed his playmaking skills against the Clippers, which has remained a common theme in the four-time NBA All-Star’s game in the 2023-24 NBA season.
Thanks to Mitchell’s development as a playmaker, it has allowed players like Jarrett Allen, Max Strus, and Caris LeVert to focus more on scoring throughout the game.
The Cavaliers are currently the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-16 record, as they remain one of the hottest teams in the league right now.
