With a 26-15 record and eight wins in a row, the Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
These last eight games have been a shining moment for the team and have propelled them ahead of the rest of the league in a number of ways.
The Cavaliers went to Twitter to tell fans that during those last eight matches, the team led the league in point differential (+22), opponent points per game (99), rebounds per game (50), and minuted trailing (21:35).

All of that is very impressive and it comes at an interesting time for the team and its future.
The Cavaliers were dealt a couple of massive blows several weeks ago when Darius Garland and Evan Mobley were injured.
The team was already in a tough spot and there had been rumors of Donovan Mitchell possibly leaving Cleveland in the future, so those injuries only made matters a lot worse.
However, things got a lot better for the team, even without Mobley and Garland.
Since those departures, the Cavaliers have continued to thrive and climb higher in the standings.
They now have the best winning streak in the league and look like true playoff competitors.
There are still a lot of questions about this team.
When will Garland and Mobley be back and what will their re-entry into the team do?
Additionally, how much longer can this winning streak continue?
And perhaps most importantly, will the front office try to make any trades before the deadline and shake up the roster a bit?
The Cavaliers are doing incredibly well right now and they don’t want to mess with a good thing but the front office might make some adjustments soon.
