The Cleveland Cavaliers might be on the verge of experiencing some really hard times.
On Friday, they learned that both Evan Mobley and Darius Garland will miss a significant amount of time due to injuries.
Losing both of these starters is both shocking and painful for the team but Donovan Mitchell believes they can get through it.
Speaking with Serena Winters, the star player said that the Cavaliers can push through this adversity if they stick together.
“For us as a group, we got to find a way just together. That’s the biggest thing. We got to do this together,” Mitchell said.

That is a very wonderful sentiment and it shows that Mitchell is taking his role as a leader seriously.
However, the news of Mobley and Garland’s injuries has raised many questions about what’s next for Mitchell.
There were already rumors about Mitchell leaving the team in the future and this only multiplies them.
With Mobley and Garland gone, the team will have an even harder time climbing up the Eastern Conference standings.
That means that Mitchell could be more inclined to move to another team if this one doesn’t find success.
The Cavaliers’ front office will have some difficult decisions to make.
Do they try to make immediate trades in order to fill the voids left by Mobley and Garland?
Or do they just ride it out and hope the remaining roster can find some level of success?
Right now, Mitchell is championing the idea of teamwork and fighting together.
But there are growing concerns about what he will be saying – and where he will be playing – in a few months.
