The Cleveland Cavaliers tried to win their fourth game in a row on Monday night but they couldn’t overtake the Orlando Magic.
The Magic beat them 104-94, ruining Cleveland’s plans to win every game on their current road trip.
After the game, Tristan Thompson opened up about how the Magic beat the Cavaliers.
“They picked up their physicality,” Thompson revealed to Bally Sports Cleveland before adding that Orlando’s size and ability to get a ton of rebounds really “wears on teams.”

Thompson tried his hardest on Monday and scored 10 points and 13 rebounds during his 28 minutes off the bench.
This was the first time he had a 10+ rebound game since 2021 and he truly did bring a lot to his team.
But it just wasn’t enough for this strong Magic team.
All season long, Orlando has dispatched multiple teams due to their great size, strength, and their work on the glass.
That is exactly what they did on Monday night.
In many ways, these two teams are very similar because they are a strong mix of younger players with accomplished veterans.
They are both trying to reign supreme in the Eastern Conference, although right now the Magic are much better in that department as they are the second-best team in the conference.
The Cavaliers have been slowly chipping away and climbing up and they are currently the seventh seed with a 13-10 record.
They will try to bounce back from this disappointing loss but it won’t be easy because they now have to face the Boston Celtics twice before heading back home to square off against the Atlanta Hawks.
Thompson knows why the Cavaliers lost to the Magic, which is very important because Orlando might be a force in the East for the rest of the season.
