After just several months, Max Strus has become an integral component of the Cleveland Cavaliers and has impressed the team’s fans.
He has also impressed other players on the squad, including big man Jarrett Allen.
Speaking with Spencer Davies, Strus and Allen talked about their chemistry and the relationship they are creating.
They also spoke about how all of that helps the Cavaliers.
Strus said their relationship will only grow, while Allen said that he has gotten very good at reading Strus and knowing when he wants the ball.

This first season with the Cavaliers is Strus’ best yet.
He is averaging 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in 2023-24, which is definitely a step up from last season when he posted 11.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
Of course, a huge part of that is because of the extra time he has on the floor in Cleveland.
When playing for the Miami Heat, Strus was a supporting role player and only started 33 games last season.
But with the Cavaliers, he has started in all 15 games and has made each of those appearances count.
Cavaliers head coach J.B. Bickerstaff clearly believes in Strus and sees him as an essential part of the team moving forward.
And Strus is ready for that challenge and prepared to keep stepping up.
As for Allen, this season has only cemented the role he plays with the team and he is again an anchor for the Cavaliers on both ends of the court.
His synergy with Strus and other players makes him even more critical to the Cavaliers’ future.
Strus and Allen love playing together, and the fans love seeing them on the floor at the same time.
