The Cleveland Cavaliers have well and truly arrived, despite a less than ideal start to the 2023-24 NBA season.
At one point in the season, the Cavaliers were well below the .500 mark, but they are currently on a four-game winning streak.
Thanks to the streak, the Cavs have now improved their record to 8-6 for the season.
The team’s most recent victory came against Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers.
While the likes of Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen were the stars of the show, rookie Craig Porter Jr. performed at an elite level as well.
So much so that his teammate Emoni Bates couldn’t resist from praising the rookie via his official Twitter handle.

Speaking of the performance, Porter had 12 points, 3 rebounds, 9 assists, and 1 block in just 27 minutes of playing time.
His performance played a crucial role in the 122-119 victory for the Cavaliers.
Aside from the rookie, Garland and Allen had 32 and 26 points, respectively.
In a game without Donovan Mitchell, the Cavaliers did an excellent job of holding it together.
While Mitchell is regarded as the best player on the current Cavaliers team, ironically, the organization is playing much better with him being sidelined due to a hamstring injury.
Can the Cavaliers continue this hot run of form when Mitchell returns to the team?
As of now, there’s no guarantee that Mitchell will be available for the Cavaliers’ next game against the Miami Heat.
