There is no doubt that Donovan Mitchell is the most valuable player for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
But is he one of the greatest players in the entire league?
According to NBA 2K, the answer is yes.
The video game franchise released the rankings of all players for NBA 2K26, and Mitchell earned a high score.
He is 11th in the league with an overall ranking of 93.

93 puts him on par with players like Anthony Davis, Jalen Brunson, and Tyrese Haliburton.
It also puts him ahead of Kawhi Leonard, Cade Cunningham, Joel Embiid, Karl-Anthony Towns, Ja Morant, and Devin Booker.
It might just be a video game, but the NBA 2K franchise is taken very seriously by all sports fans.
They put a lot of effort into creating these scores and give a good view of where people stand in the league.
This 93 overall ranking proves that Mitchell is one of the best in the NBA, a player who should be feared by all of his opponents.
Of course, his average of 24.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists last season could have told anyone that.
He may have a high 2K rating, but that doesn’t mean the Cavaliers won’t face problems in the new year.
If last season proved anything, it’s that this team has a very difficult time when the playoffs roll around.
During Cleveland’s nine games in the postseason, Mitchell averaged 29.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
If he is able to keep scoring well and help his team do better in 2025-26, Mitchell’s NBA 2K rating in the year ahead could climb even higher than 93.
