Isaiah Mobley never made a huge impact in the NBA, but he is going to try his hand playing overseas.
On Monday, Turkish club Manisa Basket announced that Mobley had joined the team.
“We believe his basketball IQ and all-around skills will be a great asset to us. Welcome Isaiah!” the team wrote on social media.

Mobley is the older brother of Cleveland Cavaliers star Evan Mobley.
He was the 49th overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft and played for the Cavs for two seasons before moving on to the Philadelphia 76ers, briefly.
He only participated in 23 games total, averaging 2.6 points and 1.5 rebounds.
Before that, he was a five-star recruit who played for USC.
Unlike his brother, he was never able to break through in the league and didn’t have a solid spot on either team.
He spent the majority of his time last season playing for the G League team, the Delaware Blue Coats.
At 6-foot-8 and 204 pounds, the 25-year-old could still have a very long career overseas.
Of course, his goal is to probably come back to the NBA.
Like many players who decide to try basketball in a foreign market, Mobley likely has an eye on a return to the league.
His contract might even include a clause that allows him to leave if he finds a new home in the NBA.
For now, however, he will remain in Turkey and will try to prove what he can do in an international market.
His original goal was to play alongside his brother in Cleveland, but things changed, and now Mobley is going to switch directions and hope for the best.
