Obviously, Donovan Mitchell is beloved by millions of Cleveland Cavaliers fans.
But he also has a strong following from basketball pros, including the many people he plays against.
Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks showed up at a youth event held by Mitchell and had huge praise for the Cavs superstar.
“Not everyone gets this type of information from one of the best players in the league. Continue to add what you learned to your game. This one of the best players in the world. So y’all just continue to watch him and focus on everything he says. He’s not joking,” Young said of Mitchell, via HoodiGarland on X.

Young noted that Mitchell had suggested some of the young players reach out to him, and he said that wasn’t a joke.
He reaffirmed that Mitchell would be willing to keep communicating with the young players attempting to learn from him, showing just how much he wants to help.
Young and Mitchell square off on the court multiple times throughout the season, and they are viewed as two of the best team leaders in the Eastern Conference.
Their games are similar in many ways, which makes them such fierce competitors.
But even though they duke it out during the season, these two men respect one another and admire how they play the game.
They also understandably fear one another, too.
One thing has become abundantly clear throughout Mitchell’s career: people like him a lot.
Even those who fight to take him down respect him as a man and value his personality and devotion to basketball.
In a few months, Young will try to undermine Mitchell and take down the Cavaliers.
But for now, he’s spreading the love.
