Evan Mobley of the Cleveland Cavaliers is one of the best defensive stars in the NBA.
After all, that’s why he won Defensive Player of the Year for 2024-25.
But Mobley isn’t content to only be a defensive presence and is working on other aspects of his game.
A video shared by Swish Cultures on X featured Mobley on the court practicing his movement and shooting.
It’s just a practice session, but Mobley certainly looked great, and that has a lot of Cavaliers fans excited for what’s ahead.

Last season, Mobley averaged 18.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
Those are good numbers, of course, but he wasn’t hailed as an offensive threat and was instead praised for his defensive work.
Mobley contributed a lot of points every game, but he could do even better in the seasons ahead.
If that happens, the Cavaliers will get more powerful and could continually take the top spot in the East season after season.
Last season, Mobley’s fourth in the league, was a big one.
Not only did he reach new heights with his averages, but he also earned his first All-Star appearance and took home the DPOY prize.
In many ways, he was finally performing like the player who fans wanted for so long, and they saw him achieving all of his potential.
But they want him to keep it up, and Mobley hopes to do the same.
This video is promising, but now Mobley has to keep practicing a lot so that he is in great shape and ready to impress again when the new season kicks off in the fall.
