After a very busy week, the NBA offseason seems to be settling down.
But that doesn’t mean a few more blockbuster trades aren’t right around the corner.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, via Evan Sidery, the Cavaliers are currently the betting favorites to acquire LeBron James if he requests a trade from the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Cavaliers have +750 odds, followed by the Dallas Mavericks with +800, the Golden State Warriors with +1600, and the Phoenix Suns with +1800.

There has been intense attention paid to James over the last few days, with some people speculating that he could be leaving the Lakers if he feels they cannot compete for a championship.
Any team that wants to take him would have to give up a lot, which limits the number of squads that could pull it off.
The Cavaliers could make something happen, but they would deplete their roster and send away a ton of assets.
Would it really be worth it?
While it would be nice to see James return to Cleveland and retire in a Cavaliers jersey, the team doesn’t want to give up all of its future just for a season or two with him.
Plus, all of the talk about James leaving Los Angeles is simply rumors, and nothing concrete has come out yet.
Therefore, this is all speculation, and James may remain in LA for the foreseeable future.
But if he does request a trade, people will immediately look to Cleveland, because they are one of the few teams that could make this move happen.
