The Cleveland Cavaliers made a big choice this weekend: they traded away Isaac Okoro for Lonzo Ball of the Chicago Bulls.
So comes to an end a long chapter in Cleveland.
Donovan Mitchell was obviously feeling sad about saying goodbye to Okoro and posted about him on social media.
“My brotha,” Mitchell posted on his Instagram story that featured a picture of him and Okoro, via HoodiGarland on X.

Okoro spent five seasons with the Cavaliers, which is the only team he’s ever played for.
He averaged 8.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists during that time.
Okoro’s output diminished a bit over the last season, and he put up 6.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
He played in just 55 games and started in 22 of them.
Okoro’s name has been attached to multiple trade rumors lately, so fans weren’t that shocked to see him moved to the Bulls over the weekend.
It may not have been a shock, but it was still disappointing to many, including Mitchell.
Ball should provide some backcourt help for the Cavaliers, although no one knows how much he will play.
Even though he has overcome his biggest injury, he still wasn’t 100 percent last season, and expectations should be kept in check.
During his time with him, Mitchell grew close to Okoro and is clearly going to miss him.
Mitchell will remain in Cleveland and will try to make a relationship with Ball as well.
Losing teammates is all part of the business of the NBA, and everyone in the league has grown used to it.
But it still stings sometimes, as proven by this social media post from Mitchell.
