The Cleveland Cavaliers have almost everything they need to compete at a high level.
However, even good things can be better, and this team is no exception to that rule.
That’s why, after falling short in the postseason again, they might consider swapping stars with other teams.
With the Toronto Raptors reportedly being willing to move RJ Barrett, the Cavs could enter the discussions.
According to NBA Central, Bovada Sportsbook has Cleveland with the fifth-best odds to land Barrett this offseason.
The Cavs are listed at +525 to get him, trailing the Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards and Portland Trail Blazers.

Barrett had a strong campaign, averaging 21.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game, finally looking like the star most scouts thought he would be coming out the 2019 NBA Draft.
Then again, as good as he was, the Raptors reportedly are looking to explore all avenues to enter trade talks for Kevin Durant, even if that means moving on from Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.
Of course, that also means they might demand a steep return for Barrett, and that’s where the Cavs might draw the line.
The front office has been quite committed to the core four, and while Barrett is a promising player who arguably would be an upgrade over Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell isn’t a true point guard, so there could be a positional issue.
Unless the Cavs really shake up their roster, there might not be room, or even a need, to consider trading for Barrett.
