Donovan Mitchell was at it again on Friday night.
Mitchell posted 43 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and one steal against the Indiana Pacers during a must-win Game 3.
According to the NBA on X, that means Mitchell has joined LeBron James as the only Cavaliers player to drop back-to-back 40-point games in the playoffs.
Mitchell is doing things that only James has, so can he become a champion like him?

His 43 points were truly astounding, but made even more amazing by the fact that only a few nights before, he put up 48 in Game 2.
Game 2 was a loss, sadly, but Game 3 was a resounding win, and now the Cavaliers feel back on track.
That doesn’t mean they are out of their hole yet.
Being down 2-1 isn’t great, but at least the Cavaliers have a chance, partly due to Mitchell’s incredible work on the court.
This has been a stellar season for Mitchell, but he has made it clear that he has one singular goal: winning a championship.
That goal was thrown into question earlier this week when his team got off to a 2-0 start against the Pacers.
But things are looking better, Mitchell is playing incredibly well, and Cavaliers fans are becoming hopeful again.
Now the question is just how many more 40-point games does he have in him?
Will he be able to produce more totals like that in this series or the ones beyond if the Cavaliers make it past the Pacers?
